Going Outside the Box

Creating jewelry is a new creative movement for me. I feel like a toddler who is experimenting with new material and new methods to produce the item. 

My background is in Fashion design, so when I create new items, I first sketch out a series of designs. Then from my drafts I pick the best designs...

Then I breakdown the process to create the design... mapping out a vision by formulating patterns and developing the prototypes...

Once the prototype is constructed, I streamline the process to make the original design better, until it is perfected. 

In some cases the design is spot on... 

While in other cases, it will take a few prototypes and pattern designing to get it right...
